The Office of the District Magistrate in Islamabad has announced that several well-known hiking trails in the capital will be temporarily closed on April 9 and 10, 2026. According to an official notification, Trail 2, Trail 3, Trail 4, Trail 5, along with the trail behind Saidpur Village, will remain inaccessible to the public during these dates.

Authorities have requested citizens to avoid visiting these areas and cooperate with the administration to ensure smooth enforcement of the decision. The closures are part of wider security measures currently in place across the city due to ongoing high-level official engagements.

Law enforcement agencies and relevant departments have been instructed to strictly implement the directive. Officials clarified that the restrictions are temporary and intended to ensure public safety and security.
