PSL Trade Window Opens – Multan and Quetta Make First Player Trade

The Pakistan Super League has officially opened its player trade window, and the first deal between franchises has already taken place. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that teams can trade players with each other until 18 March 2026. During this period, franchises can exchange players to improve their squads for the remaining matches of the tournament.

The first trade happened between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators. In this deal, young all-rounders Faisal Akram and Arafat Minhas have moved to Multan Sultans. On the other side, Ahmed Daniyal and Jehan Zeb Sultan have joined Quetta Gladiators.

All four players involved in the trade are young all-rounders, which means they can contribute with both bat and ball. Multan Sultans are known for building a strong balanced squad, and the addition of Faisal Akram and Arafat Minhas could give them more options in bowling and lower-order batting. Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators will be hoping that Ahmed Daniyal and Jehan Zeb Sultan bring fresh energy and strengthen their lineup.

Before this trade was announced, many fans were expecting a different move involving Hasan Nawaz and Sahibzada Farhan. There were rumors that these two players might be traded between franchises, but that deal did not happen. Instead, the teams decided to exchange these four young all-rounders.

With the trade window open until 18 March 2026, more trades could happen in the coming days. Teams will be looking to adjust their squads, fix weak areas, and bring in players who can help them perform better in the tournament.

Fans are now waiting to see whether more big names will be traded before the deadline, as the PSL trade window often brings surprising moves between franchises.
