Peshawar Zalmi’s Aaron Hardie Disappointed Over Empty Stadiums
Aaron Hardie Reacts to No-Crowd PSL Matches, Calls It “A Shame”
Peshawar Zalmi’s overseas Australian all-rounder Aaron Hardie has shared his thoughts on playing PSL 11 matches without spectators, saying it’s disappointing but players will remain fully committed on the field.
“It’s a Shame to Have No Crowd”
Speaking in a press conference, Hardie responded to a question about how players feel with empty stadiums. He admitted that the absence of fans takes away a big part of the game’s excitement.
“It’s a shame to have no crowd. We hope that as the competition goes on, we can have some crowd join us,” he said.
Fans Bring Energy to the Game
Hardie highlighted how important fans are for players, saying that crowd support naturally boosts energy levels during matches.
“As a player, with the crowd on, we suddenly get some extra energy into the game.”
He explained that the atmosphere created by supporters plays a major role in motivating players and making matches more thrilling.
Professionals Ready for Any Situation
Despite the disappointment, Hardie made it clear that players will stay professional and give their best, regardless of the situation.
“We are professionals now. Whether there is a crowd or no crowd, we still go out there and give 100 percent.”
Hope for Fans’ Return
The Zalmi all-rounder remained hopeful that fans will be allowed back into stadiums later in the tournament.
“Hopefully towards the back end of the competition, we will have some crowd.”
Commitment Remains Strong
Even without spectators, Hardie assured fans that the intensity and commitment from players will not drop. Teams are focused on performing at their best and delivering competitive cricket throughout the tournament.
While empty stadiums may reduce the atmosphere, players like Aaron Hardie are determined to keep the spirit of the game alive until fans can return to the stands.
